28.3.2025 | Nödcentralsverkets instruktion för behandling av uppdrag inom akutvården förnyades i slutet av november 2023. Reformen syns i mängden uppdrag och i prioritetsfördelningen inom akutvården.

26.9.2025 | Nödcentralen förmedlar årligen över 2 240 uppdrag som gäller förlossning. Det är en unik upplevelse för nödcentraloperatören när det i den andra änden av telefonen hörs ljud av ett nytt liv.

14.1.2025 | The 112 Day is a nationwide campaign aimed at raising Finnish people’s awareness of the emergency number 112 and how to recognise emergencies. When it comes to 112 training, it is a good idea to consider the characteristic behaviour and understanding of the target group. For example, it is advisable to emphasise different things to children and young people than older people, immigrants and foreign nationals.

18.12.2025 | Nödcentralsverkets verksamhet och kommunikation får mycket bra betyg av intressegrupperna. Resultaten från en intressentundersökning som genomfördes hösten 2025 visar att myndigheten fungerar pålitligt, professionellt och effektivt även i krävande situationer.

4.8.2025 | It’s important to talk with children and young people about the importance of making an emergency call. For example, physical violence is always a crime, even if it’s referred to as school bullying. An ongoing violent situation is always a reason to call the emergency number 112.

9.12.2025 | Enligt undersökningen Luottamus&Maine har Nödcentralsverket det fjärde bästa anseendet inom den offentliga förvaltningen. Allmänheten upplevde ansvarsfullhet samt produkter och tjänster som de bästa delområdena inom anseendet.

31.7.2025 | In recent weeks, there has been a significantly higher number of drownings and serious near-miss incidents at public beaches than usual. Recognizing the situation and calling for help quickly is critical when someone ends up in the water. A drowning person is rarely able to call for help, which highlights the importance of others in noticing the emergency.
