112 Suomi -application
112 Suomi is a mobile application of the Emergency Response Centre Agency, the content of which is developed in cooperation with Finnish security operators. The purpose of the free application is for the user to find the service he needs in case of emergencies and different problem situations.

Download from app store
Download the app on your phone free of charge from the app store (App Gallery, Google Play, App Store).

Quick link to the phone screen
Place the icon on your phone's home screen so that it can be found quickly.

Enter the settings and you are ready
When you first launch the app, enter your phone number, select your preferred language (Finnish, Swedish or English). To enable all features, give your permission to the questions asked by the app. The questions have operating system-specific differences.

Travel notifications can now be made via the 112 Suomi mobile application
A new feature is being added to the 112 Suomi mobile app. Starting on August 17, you can use the app to submit a travel notification.
Sign language emergency call pilot project starts in June 2021
This June, Kela and the Emergency Response Centre Agency are launching a pilot project to allow people to make emergency calls in Finnish sign language using the 112 Suomi application. The goal is to promote equal treatment in government services.
112 Suomi mobile application as an official channel for public warnings
The 112 Suomi mobile application contains security services for citizens. As of the beginning of 2021, the application has been one the statutory channels for public warnings. The Emergency Response Centre Agency, the Ministry of the Interior and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency encourage citizens to download the 112 Suomi application in the event of different emergency and problem situations.
112 Suomi mobile emergency application also available for use in other European countries
The 112 Suomi mobile application, which has over 1.8 million users, can now be used across Europe to get help in emergency situations. When people use the application to call the European emergency number 112, the caller’s location data is transmitted to the local emergency response centre.
